TUMMY EXERCISES-FOR BUSY PEOPLE

If you’re busy and think you don’t have time to work on tummy exercises, think again. You can make time while at home, work or in the bathroom. Wait a minute, did she just say bathroom? Yes, I said bathroom. A bathroom is just like any other room except for the fact you don’t usually do stomach exercises in there. You take what you can get is what I say. After all, everybody knows that women take their time in the bathroom so why not use that time allotted to get a little tummy workout. Nobody knows what you’re doing in there. Simply lie on some towels and do 5 minutes of ab work (crunches etc). Or you can do tummy tightening exercises standing up while you put on make-up, tighten your stomach and hold for 10 seconds release and repeat for 5 minutes.

Similarly, if you liked that one you’ll love this one. Let’s say you had a hard day at work and just want to lie down on the couch or in bed and watch a little TV this is a great time to get in a few tummy exercises. And since you’re lying down you can really rest in style between sets. This time we’re doing stretching exercises for the tummy. The stomach needs to be stretched just like all the other muscles in the body. While laying down stretch arms above your head and hold for 10 seconds at the same time tighten stomach, you should feel the pull just below the ribcage (works upper). Alternate this exercise with pulling knees up as high as you can (to chest) and straighten legs to start position (works lower). By the way, don’t forget to breathe slowly and exhale upon the exertion.

It seems then, you can fit stomach exercises in just about anywhere. Let’s go to the job site now and discover how creative we can be and kill two birds with one stone. For example, if you work in a office and sit at a desk you can work the lower portion of the tummy by lifting feet up off the floor and holding for 10 seconds, make sure your back is straight and you hold either side of the chair or desk top for leverage. To work the love handles on each side of the tummy simply lean from side to side of the chair, careful not to go too far and keep body and back straight, once again hold on to desk for balance. If your desk chair has arms you won’t be able to do this exercise there; however, you could do it in the restroom; once again the bathroom comes in handy for more than the obvious.

No matter what job you have you can find creative ways to incorporate these exercises into the workplace. You can even go out to your car on break and do a five minute stomach workout doing the exercises mentioned above. After all, where there’s a will there’s a way no matter how busy you are.

In conclusion, all you busy people put your creative minds to work and fit those tummy exercises into your busy schedules so that you can look good for those special occasions that keep coming up.
